Mariana Melendrez is a photographer, self-portrait artist, and retoucher born and raised in the Imperial Valley. When she first discovered the world of photography at 14, she became fascinated with editorial fashion photography. This inspiration and the creative possibilities led to pursuing the goal of becoming a part of this field.
Mariana's work has been inspired by art, cinema, and dynamic editorial fashion photography. She delved into her own study of photography through work that has taken her through acute observations of landscape subjects, feminine energy, fine art documentary, and conceptual still life. She has pursued international publications and submitted artwork to galleries since graduating from college. Educating others has also been a privilege for Mariana, as she enjoys sharing her knowledge. In addition to working on commercial and fashion-based projects, she continues to explore new encounters in visual arts as she finds her place in creative industries.

Currently of service to the San Diego and Imperial Valley areas and willing to travel.
